Better Indoor Air Quality:
Improving air
because we care

Indoor air quality has become
a major concern for many people
in Europe and all around the world.

What is IAQ?

IAQ – short for ‘Indoor Air Quality’ – refers to the quality of the air we breathe indoors. Unfiltered, indoor air can be polluted with biological, chemical and combustion pollutants:

  • Biological pollutants: agents derived from living organisms, such as bacteria, molds, mildew, viruses, house dust, mites and pollen.
  • Chemical pollutants: chemical compounds emitted from everyday (cleaning) products, air fresheners, disinfectants, furniture and paint.
  • Combustion pollutants: emissions from indoor combustion appliances, varying from carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and (ultra)fine particles to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and formaldehyde.

Why Clean the Air Indoors?

90% of our time do we spend indoors. Knowing that indoor air can be up to 50 times more polluted than outdoor (or ambient) air, it is of vital importance that we clean the air we work and live in using the appropriate air purifying tools and systems.

The quality of the air we breathe has a direct effect on our health and performance. We purify the air not only to eliminate bad odours, but also to maintain a healthy working and living environment for the people we care about and count on.

Indoor Air Pollution: Facts

A whopping 80 million Europeans live in damp and unhealthy homes, an environment which doubles the risk of asthma. The long-term effects of polluted indoor air range from asthma and allergies to lower performance rates and even learning difficulties:

  • As many as 30 million people suffer from asthma and allergies due to bad indoor air.
  • Every year 600,000 Europeans die from respiratory diseases.
  • Poor indoor air quality can affect the learning abilities in children as well as our general productivity.

A healthier indoor climate can successfully reduce the number of sick leaves in your company as well as improve the learning and productivity rates of your children and/or coworkers.
